Global finalists will compete with businesses in their category, and the winners will be announced at the global gala presentation evening.

Research shows the two main reasons for entering the awards are it provides a business opportunity and a personal challenge. Other reasons to enter:

Award Entries are to be completed online. Entries must be completed per the terms and conditions and received by the closing date to be considered an award entrant.

Judges representing various industries will shortlist all entrants into Finalists for each category.
After all entries have been considered, the finalists are invited to the Global Gala Presentation Evening.

No. Judges will decide on the entry’s content and can eliminate entries based on an incomplete entry form, inability to meet the awards criteria, or unsuitable eligibility requirements.

All Finalists will receive notification in a Finalist Kit. The kits will be distributed by mail and email, and all global finalists will be published on the awards website.

At the presentation evening, winners will be presented with a Business xCellence Awards trophy and a winner’s kit containing a certificate and a media package for their achievement. In addition, they will be recognised as a business of xCellence. They will be highlighted through targeted press releases to the media.

Representatives from various industries and associations who have experience or an understanding of small business are involved in judging all entries. Precedent Productions, who run the Local Business Awards and Australian Business Champion Awards, will assist in the judging. Judging is independent of Bx and Business Blueprint.

Judging is based on the Awards Criteria answers, website reviews, social media reviews and supporting documentation included in the entry.

The awards entry process is in two stages. Stage One is approximately 70 multiple choice questions and takes approximately 30-60 minutes to complete. It is not only entry into the awards, but an xceptional benchmarking tool for you and your business. Stage two is a series of multiple choice questions, short answer questions and supporting material. This stage can take around 60+ minutes to complete.
